The Byker Pigeon

I based this print on a photograph I took about 6 or 7 years ago. It was a cold day, there weren’t many people around, and I was taking some photos to cheer myself up when I spotted a few pigeons clearing up a bit of takeaway someone had dropped whilst waiting for a bus. This particular pigeon was bolder than the others.

The third version suggests the movement of the flock in flight, whirling around.

I printed out quite a few on Kozo paper which is very thin, and might combine them with other prints.
